SCRIPTURE:
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

OBSERVATION:
Our ability to focus is crucial for peace to be sustainable in our lives. The prophet Isaiah expounds on the peace that one can have if they keep their mind on the Lord. It is so easy to fix one’s eyes on fear, the news, fake news or what should be on the news! We should be informed, but not consumed.
In fact, there is a suspicion on how to identify what is true or real with the growing use of AI and technology. What is true? Jesus Christ is the only true way, truth, and life. He is the eternal rock. I can have peace if my mind is stayed on Him. Our Attention Deficit Disorder is really hurting us. We must begin (ASD) Attention Surplus Order.
APPLICATION:
The primary key to living a successful Christian life is our attention. Whatever has our attention has our life. Even in the Old Testament, God kept on having the nation of Israel make memorial for the acts of God, because they kept on forgetting. They needed something remind them everyday. They kept taking their eyes off of Jesus.
That’s why fear is so terrible. Fear says you can't fix your eyes on God, because the problem is too big for him. However, God is the only one with the answer and solution. He is the miracle worker. I will intentionally live ASO to God through Sabbath and devotions, because Christian life is not action first, it's attention. When we focus on God we will remain, we will become, and we will win.
PRAYER:
Lord, would you guide me to fix my eyes and mind on your goodness, power, and wisdom. Your way is the best. I trust you, Lord. Amen.
