Son of a King

SCRIPTURE:

“So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.”

Galatians 4:7

OBSERVATION:

Today I’m reminded that through Jesus Christ, I am no longer a slave to sin, fear, guilt, or the things that once held me captive. I am now a child of God. Like the way I look at Jillian and Eden is how God looks at me. I am loved, accepted, and valued by Him. I don't have to earn His love or prove my worth because my identity is found in Him. As His child, I am an heir to His promises. not defined by my past, my failures, or what others think of me. He has given me a new identity and a place in His family.

APPLICATION:

Today I will choose to live knowing that I am a child of God and not a slave to my past, mistakes, or circumstances. I will stop allowing fear, insecurity, and doubt to define who I am. Instead, I will trust God's promises and walk confidently in the identity He has given me. I am His!

Today I will choose also to bring honor to the Name above all names. Not for my glory but because His name is worthy and it is a privilege and honor to bear His name. I will be intentional about the way I live, speak, and treat others, choosing to bring honor and glory to the name of Jesus in everything I do. I want my words, actions, attitudes, and decisions to reflect His love, grace, and goodness. I will remember that being a son of the King is not just a privilege but also a responsibility to represent Him well wherever I go and in whatever I do.

PRAYER:

Jesus, thank You for loving me and calling me Your child. Thank You that through You, I am no longer a slave but a daughter and an heir to Your promises. Forgive me for the times I allow fear, doubt, and my past to make me forget who I am in You. Help me walk confidently in my identity as Your son. May my life reflect Your goodness and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus' name. Amen
