Observation
At New Hope Oahu, the speaking rotation is set up with a team concept of speakers in mind. It’s done as a team and the idea is that we are able to reach the masses for everyone. We have two great women preachers, and four incredible male speakers, and each one has their own style and reach for the church. We each seem to be able to attract a wide variety of people which makes listening to exciting. Business types, women, local, young and old, all types. We each can connect with everyone but we each have our own specialty. That’s what makes this team teaching very attractive here at the church. It is an exciting time for the church.
Application
The congregation that attends New Hope consists of all types of people. Some people are sensitive and tender, others are strong and expressive, there are all different types here in Hawaii. And because the Lord uses all kinds of different people to accomplish His purposes, I can be who I am and appreciate the brothers and sisters that may be a different flavor than I am as this teaching team labor together with God to reach the lost. It is definitely an exciting time in the church.
Prayer
Lord, I humble myself and listen to Your guidance and direction to feed me with Your Word and use me for Your Glory. Whenever I stand on the platform, my reach is love for Your people as I speak Your Words given to me by Your Spirit. Thank you for using me for Your kingdom purposes. In Jesus Name I Pray. Amen.
