He Found me

Today's Reading:
Job 11,12; Acts 15,16

Scripture

“Can you fathom the mysteries of God? Can you probe the limits of the Almighty? They are higher than the heavens—what can you do? They are deeper than the depths of the grave—what can you know? Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea. “If he comes along and confines you in prison and convenes a court, who can oppose him? Surely he recognizes deceitful men; and when he sees evil, does he not take note? (Job 11:7-11)

Observation

Time and time again, I found it to be true that man cannot find God. Praise the Lord, that He found man.

And Praise God that He found me and captured my heart.

After years spent reading about the existence of God and struggling with the issue, C.S. Lewis writes that he was riding in the sidecar of a motorcycle on his way to a zoo outside London when God touched him and he was born again. He spent years searching, thinking, wondering, and then God found him.

I think of my own existence and journey. At a certain point in time, God found me. It’s not that I had chosen the Lord. Rather, the Lord chose me before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4).

Application

When I come to the realization that God is right there by my side. I need to be in constant communication with Him when it comes to times of difficulty, time like this Pandemic and COVID-19. I can talk to Him and pray that I create in me the things of knowledge and understanding. I’ve experienced a supernatural revelation and understanding that whenever I need Him, within His Word - the Bible, God will speak to me, reveal to me, and show me everything and anything I need to know. That is why my daily devotions are so important to me. Especially during these difficult times.

Prayer

Father, thank you for everything You are having me experience in this season. It’s not easy by far, but You are with me and that is more than half the battle won. The other is I need to seek You for help and not try to control it on my own. Thank you Lord in Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
