God of the Possible

by Mary Waialeale on January 18, 2026

SCRIPTURE:

“Jesus replied, ‘What is impossible with man is possible with God.’”

Luke 18:27

OBSERVATION:

In my life, I have seen God do the impossible many times.

God doesn’t heal or provide or perform miracles so we can collect proof of a miracle; He does these things to reveal the proof of our faith. Scripture shows us again and again that when Jesus moved, faith was present. Faith as small as a mustard seed. A faith that trusts God beyond human ability or beyond what we can humanly comprehend.

Faith does not create God’s power—but it activates our participation in what God is already willing and able to do. When we believe, we align our hearts with heaven’s truth: God is not limited by what limits us. The truth is, what is impossible with man IS POSSIBLE with GOD!

APPLICATION:

Faith is more than belief—it is action. It shows up when we pray instead of worry, when we trust instead of control, when we believe in the Word of God, and when we obey God even without guarantees.

When we place our faith in God, we invite His power into places we cannot reach on our own. What feels impossible is often the very space where God asks us to trust Him most.

Ask yourself today: Where do I need to activate my faith instead of relying on my own understanding?

PRAYER:

Lord, You are the God of the impossible.
I choose to trust You beyond what I can see, feel, or understand.
Strengthen my faith—not so I can demand outcomes, but so I can walk in confidence that You are able.
I place every impossible situation into Your hands today.
Because what is impossible with man is possible with You.
Amen.
