Then the woman gave birth to a son, and named him Samson; and the child grew up and the LORD blessed him. And the Spirit of the LORD began to stir him in Mahaneh-dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.
Judges 13:24-25
For much of his assignment, Samson was a great judge whom God worked through to bring justice to Israel against her enemies. God granted him great physical strength, and with it, he won many victories for his people. Whenever the Holy Spirit would come upon him, he would be supercharged to carry out the assignment of God for that day. In Old Testament times, God’s power would come and go upon a person. Today, He lives within you, and the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you.
Where is the energy in your assignment today? What goal or task does God want you to accomplish? God desires to partner with you today to accomplish His purposes. As you wait on God, submit your calendar of events to Him, and ask Him questions about your day. God loves when you ask Him questions to seek His advice. His preference is always for a dialogue, not a monologue. When you inquire of Him, He will begin to highlight what He is going to touch in your life. As you move toward what He is moving on, He will anoint the work of your hands. Follow His anointing and focus on what is creating energy in your life today. You will accomplish more with His help than without it. Projects, relationships, or sticking points in your life that you have struggled with for weeks can resolve themselves with one touch of His hand. As you focus on the works He is touching today, that anointing will spill over into the other areas of your life.
What strength has God given you? Like Samson, God will often work through something He has given you. In season, Moses had a rod, Paul a handkerchief, and Samson super strength. What are the strengths God has placed within you? Today, He wants to ignite within you the power to move you forward and to accomplish His purposes. Any gift God has given you is a supernatural talent that requires developing. What talent, when exercised, energizes you? Follow the energy moving you today and see what God can accomplish through you if you let Him guide you.
