SCRIPTURE:
“I looked, and there before me was a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was one like a son of man with a crown of gold on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. Then another angel came out of the temple and called in a loud voice to him who was sitting on the cloud, ‘Take your sickle and reap, because the time to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’ So, he who was seated on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.’”
Revelation 14:14-16
OBSERVATION:
Oh to envision and reverence the moment of God’s glory revealed, that we the beloved believers would be set apart with Jesus forever to live eternally with Him. This is the moment of judgement where God’s mercy and wrath is enacted and delivered. We who know the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior will be the CHOSEN in the harvest. This is all revealed now to warn us of what will take place, that we would act and respond now to Jesus.
APPLICATION:
Oh to envision Jesus with His crown seated on the cloud of Glory with anticipation of grace bestowed because of my relationship with Christ is so AMAZING and EXCITING. But I/we must turn, receive, and walk in the Lord’s will and way in obedience and faith, now and until His return. Oh, to be confident that when He yields the sickle, I will be separated and harvested to Him.
PRAYER:
Dear Jesus, thank you for these scriptures that depict you taking your glorious seat with your crown to enact the judgement of grace and wrath that the Father’s plan and will, would come to pass.
