Scripture
"Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." (2 Corinthian’s 3:17-18)
Observation
It is so inspiring to know that as the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we can call on Him and the spirit of freedom to bring peace and hope in whatever situation we may be facing. Furthermore, that we need not hide our face as Moses and the people of Israel did, but instead look upon His glory, and receive it and grow in it.
Application
There is a natural carnal and worrisome part of me that sometimes lets situations and problems bind me in my perspective, outlook, and therefore my mind and heart. Basically, I let myself worry and fret. Yet, I know that I can and will call on the Holy Spirit within me to free me with the freedom and peace of the Lord.
Prayer
Dear Lord, thank you for the freedom you make available through the Holy Spirit that dwells within me. I will call upon you in prayer for that freedom and peace that surpasses understanding.
