Exodus 37,38; Psalms 19; Acts 11
“The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.” (Psalm 19:1-2)
The night’s skies, the morning shroud of fog on the water, or the verdant mountains … all tell of God’s glory. He is all around me if I will only take the time to notice Him in His creation.
During this next season of my life, I want to take time to see His splendor that surrounds me, but that which I can be blind to. As one rabbi said, “One day God will hold us responsible for all that He created for us to enjoy, but we refused to do so.” I need to take time to notice, enjoy, even revel in God’s goodness and creation. I can get so busy that I don’t notice all the wonderful things in my day that God put there to remind me of His presence!
Lord, my prayer is simple today — help me enjoy who You are in Your creation. Help me to lift my eyes above my problems and see your Promises.

Have you ever gone into a conversation saying, “We always end up talking bad about so and so, but this time I’m not.” Yet you end up doing just what you said you wouldn’t do? How many times has the Holy Spirit warned us, and yet we brushed past His prompting?
There will be times, even though the Lord leads me that I will find myself with sparse resources — not enough money, not enough help, not enough encouragement. But it doesn't mean that God didn’t take all matters into consideration when He planned the event!
