Junior Achievement is a FREE 5-week class to teach children from 3rd-6th grade the basics of financial literacy. The goal of the Jr. Achievement program is to empower students to own their economic success by learning the basics of finances with fun and age-appropriate curriculum.
Key concepts include financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship. In addition to the usual curriculum, there will be a biblical aspect taught where students can learn about the value of tithing and caring for God's financial provision.
This class will be taught by Shirley Robinson and is open to 3rd-6th graders. It starts 7p-8p on Wednesdays from February 22 through March 22 and will be held in the Moloka'i Room upstairs in the main NHO building.
