It was such a blessing this past weekend to reconnect with our ministry leaders and those of you who attended our soft reopening of our live services at the Ministry Center. We look forward to the time when we can announce our Grand Reopening for all of our live services. For now, we will continue to have a live 5:00 p.m. service on Saturdays, and 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. services on Sundays for those that earnestly desire to gather, worship, and fellowship together. It is a time that we look forward to reigniting our identity, embracing our Core Values, and reaching out to those seeking the Lord in these challenging time. We invite you to join us and invite a friend!

Dear New Hope Oahu Family,

As we prepare for and look forward to reopening services at New Hope Oahu, we would like to share our health and safety protocols with you for your comfort and safety.

If you have underlying health conditions or are in a high-risk health group, we understand and encourage you to continue joining the online community of believers from the comfort of your own home at

Disinfection, Sterilization & Cleaning

We earnestly care about your health and safety! Thus, please be advised that the Ministry Center has been treated with an EPA approved and verified sterilant dry fog system that removes bacteria, viruses, mold, and pathogens including the COVID virus from surfaces; and denatures spores and pathogens that are airborne for up to 90 days (By Hawaii Unified).

High touch or contact surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected between services.

Face Masks and Face Coverings

In accordance with the City and County COVID guidelines, we highly encourage and look forward to the wearing of face masks and/or face coverings by all attendees. Exceptions include anyone two years old and under. If you are unable to wear a mask for health reasons, we do have alternative accommodations to view and take part in services.

Social Distancing

we request that everyone practice social distancing while at the Ministry Center.

Symptomatic Awareness

In caring for your health and safety, please know that we are prepared with the proper equipment to check temperatures and evaluate the health of volunteers and visitors for the safety of all.

Children’s Ark Ministry

We are able to provide Children’s Ark services for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Please check-in directly at the Children’s Ark Mobile Annex. A maximum of 12 children will be allowed in each class. We apologize in advance if your child’s class is at full capacity. If your child’s class is full, you are welcome to bring your child with you to the main service.

Youth +Young Adult Services

Our Youth and Young Adult services (4th graders through College) will be offered online initially, but we look forward to resuming live services soon. Thus, our live services for Amplify, Ignite, Thrive and Collective Ministries are postponed until further notice.

Family Viewing Rooms

We will have 3 rooms designated for families with infants to watch and take part in services via TV monitors if they so choose.

While on the shuttles, we encourage you to continue to practice social distancing and the wearing of face masks. Shuttle drivers will have updated information and guidance.

Entry & Seating

Upon arrival, and in accordance with “social distancing” guidelines, we will encourage social distancing protocols in entering and exiting the sanctuary. Ushers will gladly assist you to your seats in order to maximize seating and following of social distancing seating guidelines.

Pathways & Walkways

Pathways and walkways are clearly marked throughout the Ministry Center to guide you everywhere, including the restrooms; and will support social distancing guidelines. Direct and expedient entry to sit in the mezzanine will be via the new double doorway at the Mauka-Diamond Head corner of the building.

The New Hope Hug

We love hugs, but for the time-being may we encourage you to greet one another with a wave, fist bump, or shaka to express your love.

Exiting Service

At the conclusion of service, each row we will be dismissed by ushers in order to comply with social distancing and a timely exit to make way for cleaning for the next service.

Feel free to bring your own water bottles or flasks, as hospitality water and coffee stations may be suspended for now according to CDC guidelines.

We are overjoyed to have you join us for live services. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we seek to provide worshipful services with your health and safety in mind. May your time with the Lord and your brothers and sisters in Christ be a memorable one.
