Dear New Hope Oahu Family & Friends,

We are excited to share with you that our weekend services are resuming with a “soft” reopening on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Live in-person service times will be Saturday evenings 5 PM, and Sunday mornings 9 AM and 11 AM and may be subject to change to serve you better.

If you have underlying health conditions or are in a high-risk health group, we encourage you to consider joining the online community of believers from the comfort of your own home. live.enewhope.org. Our New Hope online services are Saturdays at 5 PM and 7 PM (HST), and Sunday (5 AM, 7 AM, 9 AM, 11 AM & 3 PM)

Disinfection, Sterilization & Cleaning
We earnestly care about your health and safety! Thus, please be advised that the Ministry Center has been treated, and will continue to be treated with a sterilant and electrostatic sanitizing processes. High touch and contact surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized frequently.

Face Masks and Face Coverings
Face masks or face covering are required to attend services. Exceptions include anyone under age 2. If you are unable to wear a mask for health reasons, a face shield will be provided or you can view the services from one of the separate respite rooms.

What to expect if you park and ride our shuttles
Face masks or face coverings are required to ride the shuttles. Please follow the seating directions from your Shuttle Driver.

Entry & Seating
Upon arrival, and in accordance with “social distancing” guidelines, please be prepared to be cued to enter the ministry center by our greeters, and be guided to your seats by our ushers. Our elderly Kupuna and people with special needs will have priority access to enter the sanctuary.

Pathways & Walkways
Pathways and walkways are clearly marked throughout the Ministry Center to guide you in accordance with social distancing, including restrooms.

Social Distancing
We will be practicing and requiring Social Distancing throughout your time at the Ministry Center.

The New Hope Hug
Please be reminded that in accordance with social distancing protocols, the New Hope greeting of a hug will not be allowed. A smile, fist bump, gracious bow, or hand gestures expressing your aloha will surely express the love you intend to share with others in greeting

Symptomatic Awareness
Please know that temperatures will be checked upon entry to evaluate the health of volunteers and visitors for the safety of all. People with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will be further evaluated as to the health and safety of remaining on-premises.

Family Viewing Rooms
We have 3 family rooms available for families to watch services via a television monitor if so desired.

Exiting Service
At the end of service, you will be cued to leave by designated rows in accordance with social distancing, and we encourage you to help us in a timely exit to make way for cleaning for the next service.

Children’s Ark Ministry
We are able to provide Children’s Ark services for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. Please check-in directly at the Children’s Ark Mobile Annex. A maximum of 12 children will be allowed in each class. We apologize in advance if your child’s class is at full capacity whereupon your child can join you for service in the sanctuary.

Y+YA Services
Our Youth and Young Adult services (4th graders through College) will continue to provide services online. Youth and young adults are welcome to attend the live services if so desired.

Refreshments: You may want to bring your own water bottle or flask, as hospitality water and coffee stations are currently not available due to local government guidelines.

Please follow directions from our pastoral staff and leaders; and practice patience as we work through these pandemic times and current operational procedures.
