Madison Clemmons

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 – “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails…”
About the person
Born in Alabama and brought up in a military household, Maddie, 17, has lived in many other places, includingGeorgia, which is where she lived last before coming to Hawai’i. Her and her family recently moved to Hawai’i and she is currently a senior at Radford High School. On her free time she enjoys playing and writing her own music and sports, specifically basketball—which she currently plays on her school’s girl’s basketball team. Her passion is fellowship and creating long-lasting relationships, which brings her to attending our One Generation youth ministry. Here’s a Q & A interview with Maddie:
1) When did you start coming to OG?
“OG Night sometime in August”
2) Why did you join 10:38 program?
“This girl Tiani, a leader at OG, told me about it and thought it’d be a great opportunity to get plugged in. So I thought it’d be a good opportunity to grow in God, the ministry, grow in leadership and thought it’d be a good experience.”
3) How has it been impacting you?
“It showed me how much work is really put into a church service and running a ministry. I really appreciate more of the people who serve in the ministry. A lot of people see the results of a ministry, but I got to see the other side of it and it made me appreciate more of the service. It’s impacted me because I’ve had more growth in God and I even made some new and good relationships.”
