Mining Gods Word

Calvin Kochi

3it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus; 4so that you may know the exact truth about the things you have been taught. Luke 1: 3-4

God Breathed his Word into existence an inspired the writing of the Bible, and it’s writers of made sure that it is the exact truth. They have carefully and accurately made sure that the Word of God is Truth down to the details. Luke is passionate in how he presents the Truth to us, because of having investigating and mining Gods Word.

I have learned so much from being in Gods Word daily. By doing my daily devotions it has brought me closer to the Lord. I have learned to dig in and to investigate Gods Word, and to find out for myself if it truly is God breathed and Gods Authored. Luke inspires me to keep investigating, and to see if its writers are accurate. The more time that I have taken to investigate the more I have learn that accuracy of Gods Word. I realize how alive and active God Word is. You see I haven’t just relied on someone else to help me to understand the Word. I have investigated and found out for myself. My own faith is even strongerbecause of the truths that I found by spending the time in His Word. You never find true riches if you don’t go mining for yourself. Whose gold is it if someone else finds it? I can never exhaust the riches found in Gods Word. The only things that keep me from finding more gold is for me to stop mining form Gods Word.

My prayer is that I never stop being a Miner, and that I can continue to grow deeper roots of understanding Your Word. Help me to accurate and truthful as I share Your Word to others. help me to make sure that I am genuine in how I live out my faith and to share it out of heart of love.
