So all will know...

Rod Shimabukuro

1 Kings 8:60 so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is God and that there is no other. 61 But your hearts must be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time.”
Thousands upon thousands, upon thousands of cattle, sheep and goats were sacrificed as an offering unto God, in the dedication of Solomon’s temple. The Ark of the Covenant was returned to the newly established temple of God. Solomon led the people of God through a covenant prayer, asking them to be restored to live fully for God.

It’s interesting to note that Solomon’s prayer includes “all the people’s of the earth” to know God. While the focus of repentance and restoration is towards God’s chosen Israel, the love and heart of God always includes salvation to all!
I’m writing this journal, having experienced a wonderful Share da Aloha and Spirit of Aloha weekend. The preparation was MASSIVE! I know it seemed so consuming for many of our Evangelism staff and volunteers, as well as ALL the ranks of our New Hope ‘Ohana! So many leaders and volunteers sacrificed and gave so much of their time and lives towards the fruitful and successful week!

To all our leaders, staff, volunteers... To God be the Glory in and through your lives! Personally, I am once again humbled to the point of shear, pure worship unto Jesus, having experienced serving alongside of the ‘ohana of Jesus at New Hope!

WHY? So that more “peoples of Hawaii” would come to know and experience the touch of God in their hearts and lives.
My sincere and deep prayer for our leaders and volunteers - comes from verse 61... May your hearts be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands! God... transform us to become stronger, Christlike disciples, who give You the honor due Your name!!
