Free to Run

John Tilton

Isaiah 49:8-9 Thisis what the LORD says:“In the time of my favor I will answer you,and in the day of salvation I will help you;I will keep you and will make youto be a covenant for the people,to restore the landand to reassign its desolate inheritances,to say to the captives, ‘Come out,’and to those in darkness, ‘Be free!’
As the Lord spoke through Isaiah, he will speak to us in his time of favor which is now. It is the time for the harvest given the signs of natural disasters, economic upheavel, the laws of the land changing to favor sin and people turning from God in liberalism. The day of salvation could not be more evident and prevalent. Yet God is so faithful in telling us clearly that he will partner with us as he promises to keep us which I see as His protection and guidance; that He will help us as He answers our prayers and meets our needs; and make us a covenant for people which I take as making us likeable, approachable and welcoming if we are in His will be accepting His offer of partnering with Him. Our part is obedience, time in His word and with Him.
I am blessed to see how God has been keeping me, helping me and opening doors of opportunity as I serve Him in full time ministry. These scriptures remind me that God has given me favor and is partnering with me. When I contemplate the success of Simply Jesus, our outreaches how He is bringing forth vision for the season ahead and how He is already putting key components in place, I revel in being reminded that I have a partner in Him. That He has my back, stand by my side and leads me through the Holy Spirit. He will not only enable me to influence others to 'Be Free.' but through these scriptures reminds me that I am free to run; run fast, run successfully and run to win.
Dear Lord, Thank you for the freedom and privilege to run the race set before me with you as my coach running before, by my side and behind me. Thank you for reminding me that we are a team. Thank you for your favor and partnership in these end times.
