Moving Forward

"Then we turned and set out for the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea, as the Lord spoke to me, and circled Mount Seir for many days. And the Lord spoke to me, saying, 'You have circled this mountain long enough.'" (Deut. 2:1-3)

  1. God is more concerned about your FUTURE, than He is about your PAST. "Do not call to mind the former things, or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new ... will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. (Is. 43:18-19)

    • End the EXCUSE game.
"Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, 'Where are you? ... Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?' The man said, 'The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.'" (Gen. 3:9-12)

"He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy." (Prov. 28:13 NIV)

  2. QUITTING is not an option.
"How foolish can you be? . . . Have you experienced so much for nothing? Surely it was not in vain, was it?" (Gal. 3:3-4)

    • If you FAIL to prepare, be prepared to FAIL.
"He who works his land will have abundant food, but he who chases fantasies lacks judgment." (Prov. 12:11 NIV)

  3. Move your faith into ACTION.
"See, the Lord your God has placed the land before you; go up, take possession, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has spoken to you. Do not fear or be dismayed." (Deut. 1:21)

"When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, 'Do you believe that I am able to do this?' They said to Him, 'Yes, Lord.' Then He touched their eyes, saying, 'It shall be done to you according to your faith.' And their eyes were opened." (Matt. 9:28-30)
