One Lord

"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13).

"Hear, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might" (Deut. 6:4-5).

Jesus Becomes Lord When...

  1. He becomes the ONLY way.
"It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it" (Prov. 10:22).

"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Ps. 127:1).

  2. He has captured your HEART.
"Do you still think it's enough just to believe that there is one God? Well, even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror!" (James 2:19 NLT).

"Your iniquities have turned these away, and your sins have withheld good from you" (Jer. 5:25).

  3. He determins your DISPOSITION.
"No one speaking by the Spirit of God says... 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit" (1 Cor. 12:3).

"Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him" (Job 13:15).
